Since I last posted I’ve been really busy with a number of projects. I just finished shooting about 80% of Gem Aludino’s new film Conscience In Transit. It’s a film about a college student adjusting to his new environment, the stress of a long distance relationship with his high school sweetheart, and the guilt of his new potential mistress. We shot 16mm for most of it and digital for low light or locations we may or may not have had permission to film at. We shot digital with the Canon 5D and film with the Aaton LTR using Kodak Vision 3 stock, 250D and 500T. As I type the telecine transfer is waiting to be picked up at PostWorks in New York City, but I have a Clutch concert to go to later so reviewing footage will have to wait... Last night I also shot for Dennis Connors for his new documentary on composer Diane Mosser, it was a great show and a lot of fun. You can check out his previous documentary, Breaking Boundaries; The Art Of Alex Masket”, here.
I am also starting work on a documentary that I will be directing and producing, but I need to keep that on the down low until all the paperwork is done and I get funding.
