Five Official Selections and One Festival Win, The Tattoo Life has exceeded my expectations and continues to grow. In two weeks we are screening at the New Hope Film Festival. I knew from the start of production that this is where I wanted to screen if nowhere else, and now it’s finally happening. Then in August, it’ll be screening right in the center of Times Square in a free to the public screening as part of the New York City International Film Festival. Not to mention winning Best Documentary at the Flamingo Film Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in May, this has been a ridiculous year. It’s unbelievable to be given all of these amazing opportunities.
Now I am both continuing to push Tattoo Life and beginning pre-production on a new short film. I’m still debating what the title of this one will be so I don’t want to post much about this one yet, but it should be completed early 2013 and I can’t wait to see the finished product. As for Tattoo Life, we are continuing to screen in the outdoor screenings of the Artist Visions Film Festival in Lambertville, New Jersey, which is free to the public and outdoors every first and second friday, June, July, and August. Of course, there are the two HUGE festivals I mentioned, as well as a number of public screenings in the works all over New Jersey, keep an eye out for screenings in Frenchtown, Lebanon Borough, Millburn, and Princeton, but dates and locations will be announced soon. I hope everyone enjoys the screenings, and if you are reading this and are free on July 14, come to New Hope and vote for us for Audience Choice!
